Inside the slaughterhouse, we found a dog I’ve called Levi. Levi was bound by his neck, his muzzle, and his legs. He was stuffed inside a canvas sack, struggling to breathe, moments from being killed for meat. This cruelty is not rare.
It is happening across the Philippines, hidden in back rooms, yards, and slaughter sites. But every enforcement operation proves the same thing: the dog meat trade is weak, desperate, and cracking under pressure.
