SIGN NOW: Donkeys are transported long distances without food or water. Add your name if this should stop!

Donkeys are being transported for days at a time without food or water, crammed into vehicles and driven across borders to feed a brutal trade in their skins.
At least 5.9 million donkeys are slaughtered every year so their skin can be turned into ejiao, a product used in traditional Chinese medicine.
China’s own donkey population has collapsed, pushing this industry to scour the world for donkeys, no matter the cost to animal welfare.
From capture to slaughter, suffering is constant. Donkeys collapse from exhaustion and dehydration during transport, die in filthy, unregulated holding sites, or are killed in inhumane conditions that would be illegal in many countries.
This global trade is causing mass cruelty and wiping out donkey populations in vulnerable communities.
Add your name now to demand an end to the donkey skin trade and stop this cruelty before millions more suffer and die.
