Cody is a Shepherd-type puppy who was abandoned outside an animal shelter in northern Romania when he was just days old. He was left with his two sisters and their mother — helpless, exposed, and completely dependent on her to survive.
Our investigators were in the area when it happened. We stepped in immediately and secured all of them — Cody, his sisters, and their mother — and we are now ensuring they will be safely rehoused.
Abandoning animals like this is a criminal offence in Romania, yet cases like Cody’s keep happening because too often no one is held accountable.
