A dog was slaughtered in Pangasinan and prepared for illegal sale in the dog meat trade. AWIP investigators found the dog’s remains during an intelligence-led operation with the Philippine National Police.
The cruelty this dog endured was deliberate, organised, and carried out with intent. This dog died alone, terrified, and treated as nothing more than meat.
Our team tracked the operation, exposed the route, and pushed authorities to act. A 38-year-old dog slaughterer is now under arrest. But arrests are not enough.
Too many dog-meat cases collapse or end in downgraded charges unless the public demands justice. We’re fighting for the strongest possible response under the law.
