Brave was found in Marilao, Bulacan, with his muzzle split wide open — only skin and muscle keeping it together. Vets believe he was struck with a heavy, blunt object.
What’s worse, rescuers believe that Brave may have escaped from people trying to sell him into the illegal dog-meat trade. This is not the first time this has happened. And unless we act, it will not be the last.
Right now, Brave needs urgent surgery, medicine, and long-term care. But more than that, he needs justice — and every dog in the Philippines needs protection from this cruelty.
We are calling on the authorities to investigate Brave’s case, punish those responsible, and crack down on the brutal dog-meat trade.
